hotKey field

Scalar field

Gives a tag a keyboard shortcut.

Applies to...

Interactive presentation tags, such as button.

Sample usage

• <button hotKey={G} onClick=... {Go}> lets the user press Alt+G instead of clicking the button.

Behaviour

Takes a single character, as text. Pressing Alt together with that key has the same effect as clicking the tag. A hint showing the shortcut is displayed on the tag; the console's hotKeysVisible field controls whether these hints are shown.
